Lakewood Center is located in the heart of the city of Lakewood at the intersection of Del Amo and Lakewood Boulevards. JCPenney, Macy’s, Mervyn’s, Robinsons-May and TARGET anchor Lakewood Center. TARGET opened on October 12, 2003. An expansion in 2000-2001 brought about over 300,000 square feet of new stores, a food court and a Macy’s and Mervyn’s store. In addition to the enclosed mall, there are numerous destination big box retailers, restaurants, and two Pacific Movie Theatres. In total, Lakewood Center contains approximately 2.1 million square feet of retail space featuring over 270 stores and more than 30 restaurants.

Monmouth Mall, New Jersey's fifth largest shopping center, is 1.5 million square feet. The center first opened as a 500,000 square foot open-air center on March 1, 1960. In 1975, the mall was enclosed and expanded to it's current size. The mall underwent major renovations in 1987 and again in 1996. During the 1996 renovation, Monmouth Mall added a 700-seat food court and the 15-screen Loews Theatre. Monmouth Mall is conveniently located in Central New Jersey just a few miles from the "Jersey Shore." Bergen Town Center is a dominant super regional shopping center located in Paramus, New Jersey, featuring specialty shops and eateries, including Century 21, Filene’s Basement, Marshall’s and Off 5th-Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet.
Bergen Town Center is an 816,000 square foot shopping center. It originally opened in November 1957 as an open-air center. It was then renovated and enclosed in 1973. In 2006 ground was broken for a major renovation that will position the Bergen Town Center as a premiere center in the northeast. Future tenants include Whole Foods, Target and others. Bergen Town Center is conveniently located in Paramus, NJ, which has the second-highest concentration of retail in the US, second only to Manhattan's 7th Avenue. Bergen Town Center is just off of Route 4 East at Forest Avenue and can be easily accessed from Route 17, the Garden State Parkway, the NJ Turnpike, the George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln Tunnel.

Prior to Rouse Co.'s purchase of the mall in December 1997, The May Co. had committed to build an upscale Lord & Taylor store, with a new Strawbridge's as anchors to the mall. In addition a Guess store joined the mall, as an upscale retailer.
Nordstrom considered opening a store in South Jersey also, but they did not commit to the mall's expansion plans.
In an attempt to protect the Cherry Hill Mall, a mere 3 miles (4.8 km) away, the Rouse Co. acquired the Moorestown Mall. Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust acquired the Cherry Hill Mall, Echelon Mall, Moorestown Mall, Exton Square, Plymouth Meeting Mall, and Gallery at Market East on March 7, 2003. Source

Southaven Towne Center is an open-air regional lifestyle center located in the Memphis, Tennessee suburb of Southaven, Mississippi. The shopping center is owned and managed by CBL & Associates, who developed the property and opened it in October 2005. It was reported that upon opening, the Southaven Towne Center was expected to contribute 1000 jobs to the local economy. This facility marks a first for CBL & Associates, it is their first foray into the lifestyle center property type. Southaven Towne Center brings department stores to Southaven for the first time. The site currently occupied by Oak Ridge City Center was selected by the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission to establish a permanent shopping center in the years following World War II. In 1951 the AEC selected a company headed by Guilford Glazer to build the new shopping center. A shortage of steel resulting from the Korean War delayed construction, but the Downtown Shopping Center opened in 1955. This shopping area was considered a replacement for the former "townsite" area around Jackson Square.
In the late 1980s Crown American purchased the property and converted it to an indoor mall by enclosing the walkways around the stores and significantly expanding the floor area. Source

St. Louis Mills, is a shopping center in Hazelwood, Missouri, just off of Route 370. When it opened in November 2003, it had over 200 specialty shops and 8 anchor stores. It is a venture investment by developer and former owner, Mills Corporation that offers many retail stores and entertainment attractions. The newest addition to the Mills is a 130,000-square-foot Cabela's store that opened on April 13, 2007. Also in April 2007, The Mills Corp. merged into Simon Property Group; St. Louis Mills is their only property in the St. Louis area.
