Aqueduct Race Track, also known as Aqueduct Racetrack or simply Aqueduct, is a horse racing track located in Queens, New York. The track is part of the New York Racing Association (NYRA) and is open for live racing throughout the year. The track has three separate tracks: a main dirt track, an inner turf course and an outer turf course.
Aqueduct is home to several major horse racing events throughout the year, including the Wood Memorial Stakes, the Gotham Stakes, and the Cigar Mile Handicap. These events attract some of the top horses and jockeys in the sport and offer significant purse money to the winners. The track also hosts the New York Racing Festival, which features several graded stakes races.
The track was originally opened in 1894, and has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years. In 2011, Aqueduct opened the Resorts World Casino New York City, which is now the largest casino in New York City and the only one in the five boroughs of New York City. The casino offers electronic slot machines and table games, and has a wide variety of dining and entertainment options. Aqueduct Race Track is easily accessible by public transportation, with the A train subway line stopping at the Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue station, which is a short walk from the track. The track also has a large parking lot for those who choose to drive. |

The Schenley Park Skating Rink is open for ice skating during the winter. Throughout the winter the rink operates daily and offers a variety of public sessions and special sessions such as family nights, adults only nights and college ID discount sessions. The facility hosts three special events: "Skate with Santa" in December, "Mascot Skate" in January, and "Valentines on Ice" in February.
The Schenley Park Skating Rink also features a meeting/banquet room with kitchen available for rental year-round.

The Landing hosts more than 350 events each year including Florida/Georgia Weekend Celebrations, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, New Year’s Eve and Gator Bowl Celebrations, St. Patrick's Day and July 4th. Weekly events include live weekend entertainment in the center courtyard offering a variety of music including classic rock, oldies, contemporary, jazz, and top 40. To participate at Splashin' Safari, swimwear or shorts and shirts may be worn and must be modest in design and gender appropriate. No revealing or thong swimsuits allowed. Clothing or body art with rude, vulgar or inflammatory language or graphics is not permitted. Swim shoes, sandals, and aqua socks are allowed (and encouraged if your feet are sensitive) on the water slides. Children in diapers must wear swim diapers. Guests must change into street clothes (shoes, shorts and shirts) before returning to Holiday World. Showers and changing rooms are provided and rental lockers are available.

The Hollywood Bowl remains undamaged by the recent Janurary 2025 wildfires in Los Angeles. The Sunset Fire, which ignited in the Hollywood Hills, prompted evacuation orders for the venue, and all staff were safely evacuated.
While the fire posed a threat to the area, firefighters successfully contained it, preventing damage to the Hollywood Bowl. However, due to ongoing safety concerns and air quality issues, the venue has temporarily suspended all events and remains closed until further notice.

One of the largest natural amphitheaters in the world, with a current seating capacity of just under 18,000, the Hollywood Bowl has been the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic since its official opening in 1922, and, in 1991 gave its name to a resident ensemble that has filled a special niche in the musical life of Southern California, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

Located in Lexington, Kentucky, the heart of the Bluegrass, the Kentucky Horse Park is a working horse farm with 1,200 acres surrounded by 30 miles of white plank fencing. The Dakota Zoo opened its gates on June 3, 1961 on 15 acres of developed land, with 75 mammals and 23 birds, and 40,000 visitors passed through the gates that first year. Today, thanks to the continued support of members, visitors, donors and volunteers, the Dakota Zoo has grown to a 90 acre facility housing 600 animals, birds, reptiles and fish representing 125 species and visited by more than 130,000 people each year.

KIDDIELAND has over 30 rides and attractions. Founded in 1929, it is Chicagoland's oldest amusement park and has the reputation of being one of the finest traditional parks in the country. Brookfield Zoo is located on 216 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, and is only twelve miles west of downtown Chicago--close to everything, but a world away!
It's easy to find your way around Brookfield Zoo. You'll receive a map when you enter the zoo, but you can plan your day in advance by exploring our interactive map. If you get tired during your visit, or just want to make sure you see everything the zoo has to offer, hop on the Motor Safari for a guided tour. Strollers, wagons, and electronic convenience vehicles (ECVs) can be rented at both the North and South Gates, and special resources are available for people with disabilities.
