The State College of Optometry, located in New York City, is the campus of the State University of New York system devoted to optometric education and related scholarly activities. The year of 2007 marked the 50th anniversary of Bronx Community College which was established in 1957 after a decade of effort by civic-minded groups in Bronx County to meet the growing need for increased higher education facilities in the “Borough of Universities and Progress.” Classes began with 125 students on February 2, 1959 at the former site of the Bronx High School of Science at Creston Avenue and 184th Street.

New York Law School, one of the oldest independent law schools in the United States, was founded in 1891 by the faculty, students, and alumni of Columbia College Law School led by their founding dean, Theodore Dwight, a major figure in the history of legal education. In 1894, the Law School established one of the nation's first evening divisions to provide those in the workforce, or with family obligations, a flexible alternative to full-time legal studies.

SVA offers undergraduate programs in Advertising, Animation, Cartooning, Computer Art, Film & Video, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Photography, and Visual and Critical Studies. The undergraduate program is a four-year, full-time Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program with courses offered throughout the day and evening. Baruch College is part of a tradition that dates back more than 150 years to the founding, in 1847, of the Free Academy, the very first free public institution of higher education in the nation. (Baruch’s landmark building at 23rd Street and Lexington Avenue occupies the site of the Free Academy). Established in 1919 as City College’s School of Business and Civic Administration, the school was renamed in 1953 in honor of Bernard M. Baruch—statesman, financier, and devoted alumnus. In 1968 the school became an independent senior college in The City University of New York (CUNY) system.

Medgar Evers College was founded as a result of collaborative efforts by community leaders, elected officials, the Chancellor, and the Board of Trustees of The City University of New York. The College, named for the late civil rights leader, Medgar Wiley Evers (1925-1963), was established in 1970 with a mandate to meet the educational and social needs of the Central Brooklyn community. The College is committed to the fulfillment of this mandate.

There's no better place to experience the energy of the business world than in New York City. Established in 1936, the New York City campus of Berkeley College has more than 1,700 day, evening, and weekend students earning degrees and certificates. Berkeley's two midtown buildings are on the East side of 43rd and 44th Streets, between 5th and Madison, just a block and a half from Grand Central Station, providing easy access to subways, trains, and buses. And the College's new Lower Manhattan Extension Center is located in the heart of New York's financial district, easily accessible by public transportation from the five boroughs.

Duke University is a private coeducational research university located in Durham, North Carolina, US. The school, which officially became Duke University in 1924, traces its institutional roots to 1838. Beginning in the 1970s, Duke administrators began a long-term effort to strengthen Duke's reputation both nationally and internationally.

Bob Jones University (BJU) is a private, non-denominational Protestant Fundamentalist, liberal arts university located in Greenville, South Carolina. Founded in 1927 by Bob Jones, Sr. (1883-1968), an evangelist and younger contemporary of Billy Sunday, it is the largest private liberal arts university in South Carolina and has a reputation for being one of the most conservative of religious schools in the United States. Although not regionally accredited, the university is a member of, and candidate for accreditation by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools, an accrediting organization recognized by the Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Faulkner University has been a part of Montgomery, Alabama since its beginnings on Ann Street as Montgomery Bible School in 1942. Joe Greer served as the first chairman of the Board of Trustees. Drs. Rex Turner and Leonard Johnson served as the co-founding presidents of the school.

Mississippi College, or "MC" as our friends and alumni call us, is the oldest college in Mississippi and the second oldest Baptist college in the world. Founded in 1826, we boast a distinguished history replete with many outstanding alumni. U.S. News and World Report ranks MC in the "Top 10" category of best values, and we have been selected for 13 years to be on the Honor Roll of Character-Building Institutions of the Templeton Foundation.

Founded in 1906 and operating for decades as Mississippi Woman's College, William Carey College was renamed in honor of the founder of modern missions in 1954 when the school became coeducational. In 2006, the College's board of trustees renamed the institution William Carey University.
